Louisiana Pepper Exchange transitioned into the CPG space as their own brand after years of producing pepper and hot sauces for other companies.

As part of the brand’s design and marketing team, I helped contribute to many marketing initiatives through design, primarily aimed at building brand awareness.

One notable initiative was a comprehensive new product launch campaign encompassing everything from campaign planning, to a brand refresh and packaging design and creating captivating digital content. This campaign was launched across various marketing channels, including email, web and social media.


ART & DESIGN DIRECTION / PACKAGING DESIGN

Strategically art directed the packaging design to visually communicate “Modern Americana,” with an artisan and crafted look and feel.

Design directed a packaging designer to execute the label. Personally designed the back panel, sourced and managed a print vendor, created dielines and mechanicals.

As the brand is rooted in American heritage, the goal was to refresh it with a modern approach while staying true to its roots.

Drawing inspiration from small-batch American spirits, the refreshed identity honors its own spirit as a 20-year-old brand, with an artisanal look and feel.

EMAIL MARKETING

Designed and scheduled a series of 6 email newsletters for the product launch.

DIGITAL DESIGN

Designed digital assets for web, such as header images, pop-up and product page images.

Tools Used: Photoshop, Shopify

SOCIAL MEDIA

Designed graphics and created video content to be used across social channels (Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook).
